Hello!

Can you believe it's already July!? I know it certainly doesn't feel like it considering I've had the heater on this week in BraBoss HQ to keep the fitting area nice and cosy. Hopefully it will warm up again soon, fingers crossed. So what's new at BraBoss HQ?

At the end of May my partner and I got married! So I am now sat here typing as a Mrs, rather than a Miss! We had the best day of our lives, surrounded by our families, friends and our lovely dog Molly, who was such a well behaved girl. The sun shone all day long and it was filled with pizza, aperol spritz, live music and fish + chips (my favourite!)

If you follow me on social media, I have already  highlighted that I will be taking some time out of the business to go on my honeymoon. I will be closing on the 17th July and re-opening towards the end of October. The booking system will remain closed until I return but rest assured, I will let everyone know when I am back and open for bra fittings again. If you need some new bras before I close, please ensure to get in touch before this date. 

Say 'hello' to a fabulous new colour in Morgan! Sunset Meadow is a fun ditsy floral print in a mix of red, purple and blue teamed with a stretch lace in a soft red shade. This is my number 1 selling bra here at BraBoss HQ and it just fits everybody so nicely. This is a limited edition colour that will only be around for a short time only. I've been a huge fan of the Smoothease one size briefs for many years, and now they have launched a brand new comfort short which I'm very excited to share with you!! Say goodbye to annoying chafing this summer, as these one-size shorts are made to feel like a second skin. They have laser cut edges for no VPL and bonded edges. No one ever believes me, but these really do soften and mould to lots of sizes, and will comfortably fit from a size 8 to an 18. These are currently made in Black and Natual Beige and are a very reasonable £23. These are perfect to wear under summer dresses whilst on holiday, or perhaps to an abroad wedding.

Well November has certainly flown by hasn't it! 

It has been another busy month helping lots of lovely ladies (84 to be precise!) discover their new bra size. This month there are a few things I wanted to highlight as we are now in the run up to Christmas.

As a small business it's impossible to compete with the huge companies who slash all of their prices. I pride myself on offering high quality products, which are priced fairly all year round. However, I still wanted to be able to give something back as a way of saying THANK YOU to all of my existing customers, so I am running a prize giveaway. What colour bra do you choose when you are wearing a white top? If it's your trusty white bra (white goes under white...right?) then read on - as you will discover some helpful new lingerie tips!

Although we all tend to assume that wearing the same colour bra under our white top will not show, this is actually not the case! White is probably one of the worst colours to wear because it is a lot lighter than your natural skin colour, and therefore it is very bright/stark contrast against your skin.
​

The key to finding the best colour under lighter tops is all down to our skin's undertones. If you are fair, then a light sand, blush or pastel colour would work really well. For the ladies who have a medium skin tone, a caramel shade will work better, and for those with darker skin tones, darker praline or chestnut colours are a great option.

​You can also wear RED underneath white and it will disappear! The science behind this is that all skintones naturally have red undertones, which will blend and disappear under white clothes. You just have to ensure that you pick the correct red. True reds, or darker shades such as berry or burgandy will sit better over pink or orangey reds.

​Working from home is a funny old thing! I don't know about you, but I always seem to put pressure on myself to try and follow that cliche "ideal" WFH routine. In my head, my cliche WFH day would go a little something like this: wake up extra early to do an hour of yoga whilst the birds are chirping, sip a green tea + enjoy avocado on toast for breakfast, to then be showered, dressed and ready at my desk by 9am sharp, ready to whizz through and tick off all of my "to do" list.
