Working from home is a funny old thing! I don't know about you, but I always seem to put pressure on myself to try and follow that cliche "ideal" WFH routine. In my head, my cliche WFH day would go a little something like this: wake up extra early to do an hour of yoga whilst the birds are chirping, sip a green tea + enjoy avocado on toast for breakfast, to then be showered, dressed and ready at my desk by 9am sharp, ready to whizz through and tick off all of my "to do" list. Easy, right? But reality isn't always the case is it? (FYI...the yoga is still yet to happen, but funnily enough the fancy breakfasts do make an appearance from time to time!) However, the one thing I do believe makes a massive difference is getting dressed properly - and this involves wearing a bra! It's so easy to get stuck on that slippery slope of staying in your PJ's all day and to then end up WFB (working from bed!!) but something as simple as putting a bra on may make a big difference to your productivity! I know there may be many of you who are now working from home over the next few weeks/months and you may be trying to get into a new routine. I've had one friend today already mention that she's "ditched her bra" and she's only about day 3 into her temporary WFH lifestyle! While I wasn't annoyed at her (just disappointed haha!) it did make me think that maybe a little blog like this could help and give you lovely ladies some ideas about what bras you can wear. All of these options give you a very good level of support, but still provide that "no bra feeling". The non-wired braletteNon-wired doesn't always mean non-supportive! There are some absolutely fabulous non-wired bralettes out there that still give you a great shape, great support and are super super comfy! Over the last couple of years the bralette has really made a strong appearance and it looks like they are here to stay! The technology and innovation in these products has also really come on such a long way. All of the bralettes pictured above go up to an H cup. They have super soft brushed lining in the cups for the ultimate luxurious comfort. Side supoort panels within the cups offer forward breast projection (basically this stops that feeling that your breasts are under your armpits) and a deep underband which offers more support too. Non-wired also doesn't mean a plain crop top - these are super pretty, have a flat lace, soft seams and are really on trend at the moment too! These bras are all really reasonable too and start from £28 - and all available at Bra Boss HQ. The sports braIf you are one of those people who manage to squeeze in a bit of yoga before your working day, firstly - I salute you! And secondly - perhaps a good sports bra is an option? Obviously these are very supportive, as they have an important job to do, but they are also very soft, have lovely padded straps (which evens out any pressure on the shoulder and neck area) and the majority of them also have a sweat wicking fabric to help cool the body down. They all still give a really good lift and look great under normal clothes too. I have a lot of ladies who opt for this style of bra if they are always on the go, chasing after little ones, or like to take the dog for a walk during their lunchbreaks. With this type of bra, you can easily pop it on, go about your day. If you prefer to exercise after your working day, you can then go straight from your desk to your workout without having to change your bra over! The bras here range from £40 - £59 and are all available at Bra Boss HQ. They range from a B cup to a J cup. The non-wired T Shirt braAll hail the non-wired T shirt bra! It's soft, it's smooth and it's practical. This type of bra will still give you that rounded look underneath your clothes as well as uplift. Please bear in mind that a non-wired bra will never give the same sort of uplift as a wired bra, but it does a pretty darn good job - especially if you are wearing this bra for comfort and for around the house whilst you are working. Again, like the bralette, the technology of these bras is superb and nowadays go all the way up to a G cup (some even higher than that!) These types of bras are such a good staple for any lingerie drawer, as they are a classic. The bras pictured are available at Bra Boss HQ and are a fabulous £32. So I hope this gives you a bit of a helping hand when it comes to choosing something to wear that offers a great shape, uplift and support, but comfy enough to wear under your new WFH attire (a.k.a leggings and your fave hoodie!)
